Online
If you're not online, do you even exist? – poses the question the movie depicting the generation Z, raised by the internet, which brings the potentially harmful nature of social media into the light.
The title of the movie refers to the phenomenon, often exacerbated by social media platforms, called „Fear of Missing Out”: the feeling that others are having more fun or living better lives than us.
FOMO is a film that focuses on the growing misuse of social media from a younger generation. A generation where everything has to be filmed and shared online, there are no secrets anymore.

In the story high school student Gergő and his friends, the members of the Pack, are motivated by three things only: sex, partying and getting more views on their online channel. Their challenge videos become increasingly violent, and when Lilla becomes the prey of a boy gang at a house party, the seemingly safe world of the youngsters from Budapest is turned upside down overnight.
With music by Mary PopKids, Fran Palermo, Deep Glaze and Hősök, among others, FOMO is an authentic film of the gen Z - the first generation that grew up in the Internet Era. It takes us into the everyday lives - and nights - of young people with a verve never seen before in a Hungarian film.
