October was a particularly rich and diverse month for the presence of Hungarian cultural diplomacy in Brussels: the Liszt Institute and its partners organized programs that simultaneously reflected on Europe’s shared cultural roots, contemporary artistic issues and the community-building power of music. The month began with a lively professional dialogue on interpretations of classical Greek culture, followed by the deeply human drama of a Hungarian-related film presented at the Ghent Film Festival. The Brussels jazz scene featured a special Hungarian-Belgian collaboration, and the month was crowned by a captivating piano concert by János Balázs, making it truly unforgettable.
