Embracing Flux II continues its exploration of growth and degrowth through contemporary art, offering a fresh perspective enriched by an international context and diverse audience. Drawing inspiration from Maria Pinińska-Bereś’s (1931-1999) seminal piece De-Kon-Strukcja Krzywej Wieży II (1995), the exhibition delves into themes of fragmentation, femininity, and identity.

Embracing Flux II introduces several emerging artists from Central and Eastern Europe to the US for the first time. Their works, spanning a variety of media from textile-based pieces to conceptual installations, reflect both personal and public spheres. The exhibition invites viewers to reconsider their relationships with consumption, nature, and human connection, while exploring the intersection of digital fragmentation with the analogue world. These practices challenge us to reflect on our relationship with the Self.
