Planet Lens International Photo and Film Festival

In 2025, Veszprém – a former European Capital of Culture – will host the Planet Lens International Photo and Film Festival on Nature Conservation and Sustainability. For four days, visitors can enjoy nature photography and film creations, panel discussions, and workshops. Let’s shape a greener future together!

The 10th International Nature and Environmental Film Festival will take place in Veszprém from 15th to 18th May 2025. Organised by Veszprém-Balaton 2023 Jsc., this year’s festival will focus on biodiversity, a theme that will be reflected both in the films and in the diverse range of accompanying events. The festival serves as a showcase for films and photographs depicting climate change and illustrating both the negative and positive impacts of human activity on nature.

About the Festival and the Competition

PLANET LENS Nature and Sustainability International Photo and Film Festival is an international photo and film festival whose main objective is to present film and photographic works on the theme of nature, environment, climate, and sustainability.

PLANET LENS is a filmmaking competition that offers filmmakers from all over the world a platform and an opportunity to showcase their latest work. For the tenth year running, the Festival has been a showcase for filmmaking that explores climate change and the negative and positive impacts of human activities on nature. Of course, we welcome all such films in 2025, in addition to this year’s featured (and specially awarded) category on biodiversity.
