Norman Stone, one of the great British historians, formerly a speechwriter to Margaret Thatcher and professor at Oxford University, spent many years in Hungary studying the language and culture of the country before publishing his book on Hungary's history. In 'Hungary - A Short History' he demonstrates the influence Hungary has had on the world, in an informative and entertaining way.
