Join us for an extraordinary night of Hungarian and Transylvanian folk music concert by the Kedves Band and the Hunique Dance Ensemble and social dance hall on 9 November at The Catholic Centre in Chiswick, London!
The event will feature traditional live music from the Carpathian Basin, Hungary, and Transylvania, an amazing concert, some dance workshops, group dances, and social dancing until midnight.
This is an excellent opportunity to learn about traditional Hungarian culture and to experience the joy of folk dancing.
Hunique Dance Ensemble is a group of passionate Hungarian folk dancers and musicians who are dedicated to preserving and promoting Hungarian folk culture in the UK. They perform at various events throughout the year.
The Kedves band's activities are primarily focused on the regions of Csík and Udvarhely, manifested in folk music education, playing at folk dance houses, and providing musical accompaniment for amateur and professional ensembles. You can encounter them playing at dance camps, serving at festivities, and performing at festivals throughout much of Transylvania and at numerous international events. Every variation of folk music performance is present in the lives of its members. They have performed in a variety of venues, including the Vígszínház in Budapest, the Vigadó in Pest
