Day of Hungarian Poetry

Let's celebrate poetry together!

On 11 April we celebrate not only Hungarian poetry, but also the arrival of spring. So we are taking poetry to the streets of London. The windows of Liszt Institute - Hungarian Cultural Centre London on Cockspur street will be transformed into a #PostitPoetry installation.
Celebrating brilliant Hungarian poets in brilliant colours, we stamped some of the best of Hungarian poetry on post-it notes to invite all passers-by to take home their favourite poem. The installation featured works by Attila József, Endre Ady, Ágnes Nemes Nagy, János Arany, Bálint Balassi and many others.
