The European Union Delegation to the United Kingdom and the European Parliament Liaison Office (EPLO) in the UK, in cooperation with EU Member States, will be celebrating the European Day of Languages in London.
The European Day of Languages (EDL) has been celebrated annually on September 26th since 2001, dedicated to promoting language learning and linguistic diversity. To mark this occasion, the EU Delegation to the UK is hosting a multilingual fun fair on 25 September.
This event, organised by the EU Delegation to the UK and the European Parliament Liaison Office, invites students and junior ambassadors from the European Parliament Ambassador Schools Programme to join interactive sessions filled with activities and insights designed to highlight the enjoyment of learning new languages. The Liszt Institute - Hungarian Cultural Centre is proud to be present at the fair on 25 September, celebrating the diverse range of languages and cultures represented.
Language learning is not only about communication; it is about opportunity, connection, and discovery. By celebrating Europe’s linguistic diversity, we celebrate the skills that shape futures, strengthen communities, and bring cultures closer together.
Mark the return to school with a dive into European Languages. Join us to explore, learn, and be inspired!
