On the 26th of September, the first Sõltumatu Tantsu Festival (STF) will start. The festival will last from the 26th of September until the 5th of October at Sõltumatu Tantsu Lava (STL) and Von Krahli teater. This year, STF focuses on topical social issues such as burnout, beauty standards of the body and aging, technological possibilities in the art of dance as well as dance field specific discussions making sense of the role of dancers and dance art in the wider cultural landscape.

On the 3rd and 4th of October, at 8 pm, you can see in cooperation with the Liszt Institute performance "Fatigue" by Viktor Szeri, Hungarian choreographer. It is a performance about mood swings, slowed reflexes and dizziness, where the various physical and psychological symptoms of burnout seep into our everyday lives.

But before that, on the 2nd and 3rd of October, at 6 pm, "Figuring Age" by Boglárka Börcsök and Andreas Bolm will be performed, which is a performance-installation, a haunting meeting with three former Hungarian prima ballerinas.
