On May 5th, the Studium Biblicum Franciscanum organized a conference at the Custody of the Holy Land on the theme: "Saint John the Baptist in Transjordan: the Latest Excavations and Developments at the Baptismal Site and Machaerus", presented by Professor Győző Vörös, Director of the Hungarian Academy in Jerusalem and member of the Pontifical Roman Academy of Archaeology.
