The pandemic is still with us but we won’t let the music die!

You can watch the concert at the Facebook page of Harmónia Jazzműhely or at the webpage of MagyarJazz.

This brilliant young band appearing for the first time for the Harmónia Jazz Workshop has been together since September 2018. They are all committed jazz musicians who play contemporary jazz while respecting the traditions of the genre. Their repertoire is constantly broadening with programmes built around some of the defining masters of jazz like Duke Ellington or a whole evening dedicated to the emergence of bebop. They also perform original material. The band is led by the outstanding trumpeter BALÁZS SZALÓKY who made such an impression on the owner of London’s legendary 606 Club that he invited Balázs to play there as soon as the pandemics abate. The phenomenally gifted pianist, ZSOLT FARKAS is already well known on the club and concert circuit while saxophonist BALÁZS RABOCZKI, guitarist GERGELY GÁLFFY, bass player RUDOLF MAROS and the drummer TAMÁS MÜLLER are rising stars of the new generation.
