Guest lecturers

MFAT publishes its call for applications for the positions of guest lecturers 3-4 times a year in order to ensure the professional teaching of Hungarian studies and of Hungarian as a foreign language at all 70 sites of education established at international universities in accordance with the criteria set by the 333/2017 Government Order.

The work of instructors and guest lecturers of the network create the necessary conditions for the presence of Hungarian language and culture in higher education at various international universities on a professional level. Due to the expansion of the network, 3-4000 foreign students per year can take courses in Hungarian culture and language at 70 sites of education at more than 50 universities in Europe and Asia as well as North and South America from the school year 2021/2022.

The employees of the network organize various events in the framework of the Guest Lecturers for Hungarian Culture program – often together with the foreign representations – with the purpose of popularizing Hungarian culture and sciences for a wide audience.
