Herend Porcelain Exhibition Opens in China

More than 100 pieces of porcelain with the most famous motifs of the Herend Porcelain Manufacturing Ltd. including pieces of the Queen Victoria, Apponyi, Rothschild and Royal Garden collections, as well as porcelain sets with Chinese motifs made in the 19th century are on display.

The unique exhibition – arranged in the atmosphere of the forthcoming Christmas and Chinese New Year celebrations will be open to the audience from 20 November.

It is worth mentioning that the building of the Shanghai Arts and Crafts Museum was designed by the Hungarian architect, László Hudec, in 1922. The elegant villa gives home to Shanghai Arts and Crafts Museum since 2001.

The exhibition is organized by the Consulate General of Hungary, Shanghai in cooperation with Shanghai Arts and Crafts Museum and Long June Porcelain. with the with the special support of Herend Porcelain Manufactory Ltd., Lalique and Historic Shanghai.
