Experience Art

A journey through Hungarian art

Date: 25 January
Time: 14:00
Venue:  Hungarian Language Lab
25 Place Saint Gudule, 1000 Brussels

This workshop connects receptive art practice with expressive art. It aims to facilitate a personal experience of Hungarian art pieces while connecting to our own inner world. We use pieces of Hungarian art (music, literature, and paintings) as inspirations for our own creations. The creative, expressive art process is guided by Sarolta Németh, expressive arts therapist and creative journaling facilitator. There is no prior experience required in creating art. Art tools provided.

Sarolta Németh

Sarolta Németh is a teacher and art therapist who has been leading creative journaling workshops since 2016, based on the methods of Canadian art therapist Anne-Marie Jobin. In her groups, participants experiment with various art techniques and creative writing in a supportive, inspiring atmosphere, using the process of creation to get closer to themselves. At the Brussels workshop, Hungarian paintings, texts, and music enrich this journey of exploration!
