Join us in celebrating the 180th anniversary of Mihály Munkácsy's birth and the centenary of diplomatic relations between Hungary and Luxembourg with a unique fashion exhibition inspired by Munkácsy's paintings that fuses history, modernity, fashion and draws inspiration from nature, an inexhaustible source of creativity.

The Liszt Institute Brussels has collaborated with Erika Kovács, founder and designer of KE Fashion, who created a collection of custom - designed dresses, scarfs and accessories on which the Master's exceptional paintings come to life.

The exhibition is supported by the Munkácsy Mihály Museum in Békéscsaba

As the founder and designer of KE FASHION, I adore Hungarian culture as well as fashion. My passion lies in the stories that clothes tell, as well as the artistic works and designs that come to life on the textiles themselves.

As a designer, I specialize in creating unique clothing pieces, as well as crafting corporate formalwear and street style collections.

To mark the 180th anniversary of Mihály Munkácsy's birth and the centenary of diplomatic relations between Hungary and Luxembourg I designed artworks inspired by Munkácsy's paintings. My main source of inspiration for the design of my collections is nature and wildlife.

In addition to custom-designed clothes, I dream up special accessories to bring the original paintings to life, such as silk scarves, earrings, or headpieces, which can be the perfect complement to the design creations.
