The evening features a selection of the best Hungarian short films of the last four years. The event is a special programme of the Wide Angle cinema focus, presenting the history of Hungarian cinema.

The goal of BUSHO is to encourage joint activities between young filmmakers in Hungary and other European organisations involved in the audiovisual programme. Year after year they managed to double the number of entries and thus the number of participating countries, with 2011 being a record year with 1845 entries from 80 countries!
