April 8, the International Romani Day is a day to celebrate Romani culture and raise awareness of the issues facing Romani people.
Yearly, our Institute organizes cultural events focusing on Hungarian Roma artists to present the rich heritage of the Romani culture as well as to give a platform to contemporary artists to showcase their works. This year will not be different.
Join us on 8 April from 7PM to experience the fusion of traditional and world Romani music with electronic beats, featuring singer Tamás Kökény and Dualone, contemporary and classical electronic formation.
The event is organized with the kind support of Lívia Járóka, non-attached Member of the European Parliament in honour of the International Romani Day.
Come and celebrate with us Romani culture.
