After the film Silenced shame, which is about the brutality of soviet soldiers towards Hungarian women, a sequel was made with the title to Inherited shame. Jolán Pintér, head of the Gulág Foundation, inherited this organization from her mother, Károlyné Pintér Magdolna Rohr. Magdolna Rohr was raped by Soviet soldiers at the age of 15, and a year later, at the age of 16, she was dragged to the Gulag as a political convict, where she suffered and was imprisoned for 9 years. Although Jolán's parents were rehabilitated by the communists in 1960, they were only tolerated elements of society until 1990. After the death of her parents, Jolán Pintér continues her parents' work and works tirelessly to make the past accessible to the future generation.
