Mihály Dresch is an outstanding representative of Hungarian jazz music, an excellent saxophone player with a unique music world based on Hungarian folk music and jazz. In his first quartet as leader, founded in 1984, the legacy of John Coltrane's music can be recognised as one of the main sources of inspiration.
