On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Liszt Institute Beijing, in cooperation with EUNIC, organized a sold-out electronic music night at one of the most popular venues in the city. The Institute also welcomed the Hungarian Wine Marketing Delegation, led by Government Commissioner Pál Rókusfalvy, responsible for national wine marketing, supporting their promotional roadshow for Hungarian wines in China. Additionally, the Institute hosted 25 students from the Mathias Corvinus Collegium (MCC), where Director Anna Lujza Honecz spoke about the importance of Hungarian–Chinese cultural and educational cooperation and the ongoing work of the Institute.

On March 8, to celebrate International Women’s Day, the EUNIC cluster in China organized an electronic music night at Migas Mercado club. The event was a great success, with the audience enjoying performances by female DJs from six countries: ZaaSki (United Kingdom), Cleopatri (Spain), Kouni (Italy), Manaa (Switzerland), Elina (Ukraine), and Lana Den (Germany), who kept the energy high until dawn. The program received very positive feedback and successfully reached a young audience, creating new points of connection between the cultural institutes and the local community.

Led by Government Commissioner Pál Rókusfalvy, responsible for national wine marketing, the Hungarian Wine Marketing Delegation held a promotional wine roadshow in China from March 8 to 14, 2025. The final stop of the tour was Beijing, where on March 13 the delegation held talks with the leadership of the Moshikou Historical and Cultural District in Shijingshan District. In Beijing, the delegation was accompanied by Katalin Sógor, Commercial Attaché, and Anna Lujza Honecz, Director of the Liszt Institute Beijing. The discussions focused on promoting wine culture and exploring opportunities for cooperation in tourism and related industries. Following the meeting, Pál Rókusfalvy officially inaugurated the “Hungarian Wine and Tourism Cultural Experience Center” located in the Moshikou Historical and Cultural District. The center aims to showcase the unique traditions of Hungarian winemaking. It offers a selection of the finest wines from Hungary’s various wine regions and, in cooperation with Hungarian wineries, provides customized wine tourism programs for Chinese visitors to Hungary. The day concluded with a promotional event featuring a wine tasting, where speeches were delivered by Ambassador Máté Pesti and Government Commissioner Pál Rókusfalvy.

In the spring of 2025, 25 students from the Mathias Corvinus Collegium (MCC) participated in a two-week study trip to China, during which they visited the cities of Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Shanghai, and Beijing. The aim of the program was to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of China's economic, cultural, and educational environment. The Liszt Institute Beijing welcomed the delegation as part of the official program. The 25 students of MCC were joined by 9 Chinese students from the Hungarian Department of Beijing Foreign Language University (BFSU). The first part of the program featured a short briefing by Péter Király, Senior Diplomat, who provided an overview of Hungarian–Chinese bilateral relations, as well as the role and functions of the Hungarian diplomatic mission in Beijing. Following this, Anna Lujza Honecz, Director of the Liszt Institute, presented the history and scope of the Institute’s work and spoke in detail about the significance of Hungarian–Chinese cultural and educational cooperation. The official program concluded with mutual introductions, a joint Q&A session, and an exchange of experiences between the students.
