The worldwide popularity of traditional Hungarian music owes much to the Muzsikás ensemble, with a career spanning over 50 years. Their wide range of instruments and musical versatility enable them to perform with passion the music of the oral tradition, enriched by forays into classical music, klezmer, jazz and even alternative rock. Their appearance in Liège at the invitation of Gergely Madaras is enhanced by the presence of singer Hanga Kacsó, one of the rising stars of her country's music scene.
